Sprayable Graffitis/Decals

I know it's been mentioned/suggested in the past, but I feel it's worth re-mentioning. I would love a graffiti system similar to that of CS, where you can spray decals onto blocks, would add a lot of potential detail to builds, can provide basic ones such as arrows, hazard signs, radiation symbols, etc.
Can then even add new, more detailed ones in DLCs, allow modders to create them.
Technically can do it with signs, but I feel it's not the same, as it takes up space, and more importantly covers up what's underneath.
