Make Room for Rovers to Avoid Driving through Forests

Driving a rover around Verdure's surface is slow and frustrating right now. The planet's forests make crashing through trees a large part of navigating, which I find pretty unenjoyable.
If dense vegetation generated in isolated patches, we could go around them. This would make rovers faster and a bit more viable as an alternative to thrusters.

Yeah, would be cool if there were some nice plains-like biomes to add some variety to the dense forests and mountains and make building bases and driving around easier. Could also look good if you had some nice alien meadows.
I like how they did it in Satisfactory, the planet feels alien and untamed with lots of dense forests and crazy mountains, but there's almost always some sort of natural path you can find through the wilderness that you can drive a tractor or truck through. It might be kind of different since Satisfactory's environment is designed by hand where Space Engineers' terrain seems(?) procedurally generated, but I'm sure there has to be some way to make some clearings in the landscape so we don't have to bulldoze down a forest every time we want to go somewhere.
