GPS and waypoint markers WAY too big and blocking view

The waypoint and GPS markers are WAY too big, they block the whole view of where you are going.
This ruins the experience. Either make them WAY smaller or have an option to turn off JUST all of the markers at once with a button press and not the whole HUD like it is now because I still like to know how fast I am going and how high I am not to crash into my base :-)
I like this feedback 
SE1 had a disable GPS markers button, I assume one is coming for SE2, but yeah the console-focused UI design is super intrusive.
