KEENE DOES IT AGAIN

LOL, Most of the bugs in the previous release still exist in this release. Even the bugs that they said no longer exist and to stop reporting memory leaks because they monitor for them internally...

My experience for the first trial of this release reached the end of the game approx. 30 seconds after starting when the walkthrough had me pickup a data pad and then there was no way past that section.

The one good thing about this release is that the NPC gatling turrets do not destroy entire ships in under 10 seconds, they work more realistically now and even the player can sustain a couple of shots.

The contracts are still glitched. The Lost Station only shows a green cube where the station should be, and Prospector Station is on the same asteroid just outside of the green cube...

Saving often fails still, so when you play the next time the game only has an old save. At some point it stops saving the game, but never tells you.

Sitting connected to the new fast travel station on Verdure used up so much memory that I could just barely end the game without using ctrl-alt-del.

When exiting the cockpit, the player must press Z twice to fix the inertia dampeners.

The list goes on and on. Didn't Merick say he would not release new updates until the existing issues were resolved? They no longer want us submitting memory leak bugs, and they have not fixed previous bugs, so I'm glad I stopped submitting bug reports when they said they were no longer needed.

Overall, the game has improved greatly. The graphics are WAY better in this release in both quality/realism and performance. I can see Unknown Signals that are on fire about 15-20km away, head towards them and they show on the hud at 10km.

I don't know what the "Your Next Contract is here" marker is for, as it started showing up immediately after I completed the first contract.

Personally, I think it takes too long into gameplay to receive the large cargo container. They game also appears to lack a working/efficient trash cleanup. As with previous versions, when things start lagging and a restart does not fix it then setting the trash cleanup to be more aggressive solves the problem.

The game is maturing, but if they do not test the releases before they release them, nor fix very old bugs, then they will lose customers and new sales due to poor word of mouth advertising.

This version of the game is extremely simple and should bring in more noobs due to the feeling of being able to accomplish tasks so easily. Oh, the Map GPS is messed up. It had me starting in the blank sector to the left of the Verdure sector. It didn't correct until I fast traveled down to the planet, which was not obvious, but the only option as I cannot Fast Travel out of the Verdure sector at all, stuck here forever, or at least until they get the bug fixed.

You have to love the humor in the two contracts that tell you to take out the bad guys and to ensure you have a heavily armed ship... When your still several contracts away from obtaining any type of weapon block. Luckily, all we have to do is fly to the backside of the asteroids and approach from the rear. Sneaking in with a hand grinder or using the NPC grinding ship that I stole from a previous contract, piggy backed through my adventures. It took a while to figure out it had to be connected to the main ship perfectly to avoid spiraling out of control due to what appears to be out of balanced weight on the ship which should not exist in zero-G.

They forgot to add a nuke button for the yellow garage that uses up our PCU count. It will be the first place I destroy once I get warheads...
