Just looking for ways to increase power generation when wind turbines can't be used and you haven't unlocked reactor power or using solar panels isn't feasible.
Bringing Hydrogen Engines back from SE1 could serve as a buffer or backup power source. Imagine you're very very very far away from you're base or the nearest outpost and you're batteries are draining but you have a stockpile of ice/hydrogen onboard, could save you're life with a Hydrogen Engine.
