Selector wheel for block variations
The current way of picking block variations in by using the R key to flip between them. Especially now with the unified grid system, where different block sizes have been condensed into the same block with just different variants for each size, this means that, if you want to pick any specific block, you have to hunt around by repeatedly pressing the R key, something which is very frustrating when dealing with armor blocks in particular. I think a good solution for this problem would be one which Satisfactory uses well, whereby holding the same key you press to flip through building variations actually pops up a selector wheel for all those variations (and related buildings aswell), similar to the selector wheel currently used in SE2 to select colors. Of course, the hold R key action is currently tied to said color picker, but it could absolutely be remapped to a different action. This would make picking different block variants much much easier, and would improve working with armor blocks quite a lot. There's also theoretically no limit to how many blocks you have in a selector wheel (of course there's a practical limit in terms of the size of each icon on the wheel), so it could even be used to consolidate armor blocks in the same group, without having multiple hotbar slots allocated to light and heavy armor in multiple slope sizes or shapes, like in SE1.
