Engineering - Lost Asteroid Base
I had a thought today about the offset bounding box for the Lost Asteroid Base mission.
As I mentioned in my bug report, a variant on this mission could be to include the Lost Asteroid Base inside the bounding box for certain missions so the engineer can complete it.
Another variation might be a Damaged Asteroid Base. The asteroid base was damaged by a meteor storm and needs to be built at a more secure location with defenses. The player needs to build the base like normal, in the offset green area. Additionally, they have to add gatling turrets for base defense. When the build is complete, trigger an event that rains meteors down on the base. The gatlings need to auto-defend, or the player needs to take control to defend the base. Once the storm is over, then the base is handed over to the Colonization Authority as ready for use.
