Idea: Combine cargo inventories (QoL)

Concept was demonstrated in a couple new games. a good example is Palia (free)

How it could work: Each cargo container you place DIRECTLY touching each other simply makes the total inventory capacity increase, instead of being separate inventories.

Therefore 27x small cargo pods back to back would look the same on the inventory screen as 1 large 3x3x3. A 25 drill rig all touching would have 1 shared inventory entry with a balanced load.

And, grinding down one of the shared cargo block, reduces capacity, but doesn't drop items unless contents exceeds new capacity.

Want to move a cargo block over 1? simply build the new one directly connected to it, then grind down the old one. Saves the step of dragging everything over to the new one first.

If you want separate inventories, just separate them with even a single conveyor, making it a distinct storage.

how would this effect cargo containers that i specifically set up to hold just components for blocks that i build and grind down as needed, like a fabricator or refinery?

i like the idea that they are all connected (because we generally build ships so that we can get anything from anywhere right?) but some of the prefab ships like to have isolated systems that dont have that same connected inventory system.

*edit* P.S. i also enjoy a bit of palia. *tips hat*
