Metal Spline Rail and Metal Wheels

If you added a rail spline that we could make trains from... that would be so very awesome. See AI image (it did its best. It was suppose to hang the rail from the support, but I hope you get what I mean)

Although this link is to build a curve in an SVG, the math would work mostly the same on a 3D spline.

Circle segments would also work. With a pillar at each end implemented as a mini grid that the player can design to their aesthetic tastes. A question would be how hard it hits performance, if you have a grid every 20 m or so. That is a lot of PCU.

this is where space engineers becomes roller coaster tycoon... and im all for it. once we get wheels we could probably fake the same thing effectively. however the idea of metal on metal screeching and not imploding when transitioning from one block to the next at speeds excess of 10m/s (depending on the radius of the wheel) is gonna be an interesting breakpoint.
