When this gets added, please somehow make it so constructing grids with the modded version of the block can have hte base game version replace it without the need for manually doing it, if possible

It isn't missing, it was replaced. Just like a lot of other 2x1 blocks in SE1 you now make it out of two blocks using the "armor-half" block and the slope on top of it.
