Remove the need for foundation when placing blueprints in gravity well in survival

Or create some way to toggle it. While the feature to auto add strut blocks to connect blueprints may be useful when building over rough terrain, it's redundant when you try to build your ship over a nice platform. No, I don't need connecting my little ship to the ground. Yes, the landing gear/connector that I will be welding first will fall, for a meter or so, parking nicely on the platform I have prepared beforehand, no damage at all.

This might be wrong, but I think they changed it so that you cant weld "non-static" grids.

But again, I MIGHT BE WRONG ON THIS!

You can in space. I made a mistake of welding a new ship without attaching it by landing gear/connector, and it flew away into the void.

Well in that case nvm.

But as for your problem.

For now at least you can just build a couple blocks up from your platform,

build the LGear and then just grind the blocks connecting it to the platform.

But it would be a nice feature to have, regardless.
