This is feedback about myfeelings on sound in game


a lot of sounds in game sounds realy great, but there are some technical problems in realisation of sound. first at all sound volume decrease from distane is very slow. after reaching max range sound just disapears. It cause discomfort if you realiize it.


then sound input lugs. walking, rnning, jumping, all of this movement based sounds come with a big input lug. just try it and hear it.


sound in space are similar to on-planet sounds. running across metal platform in vacuum caouse same sounds as running on the ground, they are to loud in vacuum. I know you can hear it from boots, but not that loud.


grinder cutting sounds. In moment of contact with block, grinder make strange sound, that are too unrealistic. Probably it is just my feeling.


I hope sounds in game would become more realistic and immmersive through time, but for now it cause a lot of discomfort in many directions

Agreed, the movement management of the sound should be reviewed, to make sure it fades smoothly with movement and not just cut off at a certain distance.

Also, a bit more granularity in the settings? "Tools" has its own volume level, "Machines" for production blocs, O2H2/Reactor would be good also.
