Maintain collapsed groups until I choose to uncollapse, and groups should by default be collapsed

I'm sure this has been raised, but it is very annoying that every time you make a change or navigate to a different screen all of your groups that you created and collapsed are now uncollapsed... this happens when grouping items on a grid and when grouping GPS coordinates. If I collapse a group, it should stay collapsed until I choose to uncollapse it. If anything, groups should default to a collapsed state rather than an uncollapsed state. Seems like an easy fix and I'm sure would make a lot of people happy.
