Idea for production line involving welders.

I love how the assembler can order the smelter to build the materials it needs so that then the assembler can build his stuff. So my proposal is, when welding, if the welder detects missing components, it can request them to be made to the assembler/refinery/smelter in the same grid (and subgrid?)
Then when building, instead of having to go dock (if using a builder) or leaving your control from the printer, and restock or order your assembly line to start producing what you needed, the welders themselves can tell the production line "hey i need X of these and y of those"
