Drill ship loses dampener functionality

TLDR: Changing thruster overrides disables ship dampeners until save/reload.
I have a drill ship that uses thruster overrides to push the ship into the voxels with the drill mode set to mine. I disable dampeners to help speed things up. After finishing mining, returning the thrust override to 0, and re-enabling ship dampeners, the ship loses the dampener functionality until a save/reload.
Edit: Issue occurs whether you enable/disable dampeners.
