Space hygiene is important, when visiting space stations and talking to NPCs it is best if you do not stink. Not stinking could get you better contracts or improved discounts when trading. It is rumoured that even the terminals have a built in sniffer to determine if you are a good customer, others believe that a good clean space suit can open doors.
