Grid despawn critera?
Hi,
Not really a bug or feedback as such (other than 'there is no ingame information about this', but I fully realise it's alpha software, so..), but more of a discussion/question about how things are actually intended to work, since it's not really obvious;
What are the actual criteria for despawning grids?
Case in point, I had a couple of Bullfrogs I'd 'liberated' after contracts, and one I had blueprinted and built up to get actual control/ownership over. They seemed to stick around when docked and powered, some maybe unpowered(?), but then they all despawned over time as i was travelling to/from the sector - including the one I'd built. I'd also 'acquired' a random cargo ship and had it held in place at my base with a landing gear (placed on the base grid) and was grinding it down - was about halfways done, went off to another sector to do a contract, and it was gone when I returned. Meanwhile, a prospecting ship I'd also, well, stolen, has been sitting powered and docked at the same base for far longer. Hence the question, I'm a little curious.
I like this feedback
