Gravity Cores required before fabricator is unlocked.

The Industrial foothold was the only contract available to me and it requires you to build a gravity generator, but I haven't unlocked the fabricator yet. I'll either have to abandon the quest, find a grav generator to dismantle, or cheat to progress in the story mode.

There are at least 2 ways to find gravity cores without building your own fabricator. First one is you can grind them from another gravity generator. For example there is one on the Ship Wrek you visit on Verdure in the beginning or those are found on some other stations on the asteroids you have visited in other contracts. The second way is to use Fabricator on another station somewhere, surelly you have seen them in other contracts. There would've been even third way, if trade terminal would work better, but right now gravity cores cost more then player or seller have money in total.
By the way there is a way to make your own fabricator before you unlock it. You just need to use a blueprint of it. So this contract is completable.

some of the cargo ships that are flying around have gravity blocks in them. Create yourself a fast moving tug, with landing gears on the front, set them to auto connect. Fly in fast to a cargo ship, get in under the cargo ship so the turret doesnt waste you, and clamp onto the cargo ships underside. EVA to the entrance and board it, shut down the ship and then grind down the gravity unit and you will have your 3 cores. Then you can either fly the ship back to your base and use it for scrap or leave it where it is.

This is still very progress blocking early in the game as it's something like the 3rd contract I was offered. Unless you left a GPS marker at the wrecked ship you'll have a lot of trouble finding your way back there to teardown the gravity generator, and relying on randomised cargo ship or unknown signals is a crapshoot (and with turreted ships likely to be frustrating as you don't really have any introduction to combat before this). I've been looking for these for several hours and found nothing.

Hi, I had the same problem with the Gravity Core. I looted it from a cargo ship. Now, I've repaired everything in this quest, but it only shows 87/88 completed in Block B. I've checked every single part in Block B again, and everything is 100% repaired!
It's simply impossible to complete the quest. What's going on? I've already invested 46 hours and it's still stuck.
