This is an ultra sticky elastic foam cloud that covers 12.5m square 2.5m thick that can absorb gatling calibre munitions without moving. Heavier munitions will loose 50% of their damage potential and will cause then cloud to move. After absorbing enough damage the sticky cloud sponge will break up and disperse.

The DBS is stored in a bottle similar to oxygen and hydrogen. It will require a dispensing block to deploy the bottles contents. If the bottle is damaged the contents will deploy as well. If the DBS bottle is damaged inside a vessel or base it fill up to 25 x 2.5m3 spaces. The DBS is water soluble allowing it to be washed away. Deployable bullet sponge bottles can an only be obtained from space stations.
