Fix the Squeege
Many of the ship noises start with a "squeege" noise.
This supposedly give the noises a Si-fi flair?
IDK, it sounds VERY un-realistic and gamey to me.
Like, can we get a real hydro thruster startup noise? Se1 did a good job with this. The Se2 noise... I just have to walk away. Can't watch videos. Can't play. What appears to me to be stupidity(the squeege) is so bad, that I rage quit from having to listen to the noises.
How about add in the option to use some of the noises from SE1?
Thruster noises are particularly bad in Se2. I'm an avid Se1 player, but ATM none of the new game features that are coming to Se2, are good enough to overcome the horribleness of the noises.
I can't play the game.
So unless you guys: Keen. Give some other options, I'm going to have to wait on the community to make a mod so the sound isn't awful. Until then I cannot play SE2.
This is kinda like the block rotation keys in Se2. For some people these changes make the game unplayable.
