Backpack/suit upgrades via progress/crafting

Would be cool if as we progress through the missions and unlocks of new blocks that we get the ability to craft an upgraded backpack and suit. This could be things that allow us to carry more Consumables, larger capacity O2 and Hydrogen in our suit, bigger inventory, etc...
I find myself having to grab materials WAAAY more often than I would like to build some of higher level blocks. Pretty annoying. Would be nice to have a backpack/suit that matched.
