HELIONIS STATION!!!

We've traveled across the cosmos, going insane from countless unknown signals composed of mostly the same blue-ship or containers. We finally made it to Helionis Station. However, there's no life signs and the many reactors seem to only be used to power a 12.5m antenna which we powered on hoping it would enable Fast Travel... IT WORKED! The copilot radioed back that he made it back to Kemik station, but the Fast Travel failed to return him back to Helionis station. I will stay behind and explore. There must be more to this station than meets the eye for it to have 5+ reactors.

We can leave using Fast Travel, but we cannot return to Helionis using Fast Travel yet. Nothing happens when clicking it when attempting to return. The shields power the best-looking Safe Zone anyone has ever seen! The SZ surrounds a large asteroid where the station is located. We can't wait for multi-player to be released. I'm going to branch the game off, one ship going to the unknown sector and the other exploring Helionis sector around the station. Interestingly, going in a straight line from point to point only had one asteroid spawn directly in front of the ship. Luckily, the last backup was right before the crash, and we were able to continue onward.

Three of us play. We took the boring, no thrills, waiting for the next release into an exciting adventure into the unknown. We had previously tried to exceed the map boundary and failed. Googling if we could cross the boundary between sectors revealed one FAQ from a long time ago that said it was not possible, but we tried anyway. We boldly went where nobody has gone before! Now we have the excitement of exploring the unknown area around the station and the next unknown sector.

At least we found something to do until the next release comes out. The game gets incredibly boring with nothing happening and the same few unknown signals. Just being able to access the station computers and enabling the 12.5m antenna was a thrill. We couldn't believe we had that much access. It must have been the new data cable that we carry - lol

It took many hours across 3 days to reach the station at top speed. It seems kind of silly that we can get the ship moving and then drift ballistically across the universe as far as we want to go without using any fuel... Keene may want to limit this feature. We didn't seem to use much, if any battery power either.

The asteroids in this sector are the most realistic looking and a numerous variety of shapes and sizes. I've ventured to a place where most of the steroids are small chunks with no ore. Some of the asteroids are gigantic and have deep ore while others are large with enormous tunnels going through them. There's every kind of ore within say 50km. This has been the best sector for exploring space as the asteroids are different in different places. I never would have expected a portion of just rocks with absolutely no ores and looking more like scrap asteroids.

The unknown signals appear to be broken in the world. The variety of unknown signal types dwindles each day of game play compared to when the world was first created. They are no longer spawning in every 5km of new space and are becoming rare. The unknown signals used to be my main source of components, but I had to switch to mining. Master Driller certified until they release the fix for the drills not drilling at 90 degrees.

Before crossing into the unknown sector, we've decided to build a new ship that will serve every purpose in the game. It's about 30% welded at the moment. The projection building is awesome. We wish that we could purchase an upgraded backpack as in other games where you can purchase or acquire more storage space. The components are so large that it requires thousands of trips to weld up a decent size ship.

We get to show off the ships better due to the safe speed protection from damage. The next time I stop at a planet, the 3 of us will create catapults to fight with. The torque that builds up using ships as levers and Q/E rotation is going to be put to the test. Apply the pressure then remove the stopper to release the payload. Rotors and hinges are going to be OP when they come out if they can withstand the torque.

We're taking turns welding up the ship and have a base 50km from where Helionis station will spawn in.
