(Feature Request)- Moveable and connectable cargo

Would it be possible to have cargo containers ( possibly double length ones like shipping containers) which can be unlocked from the grid by landing gear or specialized grab blocks, flown to their destination and then reattached to a new grid and the conveyor system? I honestly think this would bring a brilliant game dynamic and scope for hauling gameplay.

Shipping containers were designed as a logistics medium to move between road, rail and shipping. There is no standard road size in SE and no standard for rail, without those two scales being quantified a shipping container size can not be evaluated.
Is the TEU standard IRL the right size for a space game, or could another standard size format be more appropriate?
Is having a shipping container that you can not go inside of the right direction to go in?

No..I meant cargo containers that we already have, but give us a double length one instead of just cubes, and let them be picked up by locking landing gear on them, and let them be able to be locked onto and off the grid... nothing to do with road rail or standards..the standards are already in game..it's called the grid lol.

If that is the case then engineer the container, stick two together, and add a connector. Use more landing gears to lock containers in place
IMO SE2 is a bit toy at the moment and needs things in it to feel less like a cartoon game.
There are plenty of cartoon like space games out there already,
but hey who knows may be that is the way Keen wants to go.

I agree ..I'm struggling to stay on it for long..it feels like my hand is being held far too much, and the refinery is just another type of assembler at this point.
