So I just completed the run through of the SE2 Survival update. I noticed a few issues, but mostly, well done peeps, its awesome.

1) I notice there is no group controls, so I had to manually disable thrusters when parked to avoid wasting H2. However when switched off, the large thrusters, still made the active noise. Not sure if Airthrusters did the same, I didn't test that.

2) When moving batteries of varying charge levels, between storgage units, I noticed at least once, it got confused and displayed the wrong values, for what was actually stored. I couldn't reproduce this, sorry. My guess is its displaying the values for one entity, more than once, and so blanking the real value.

3) On the final challenged in the sector, after building the 12 heavy duty panels, the scenario engine stopped saying what needed to be done. I had noticed the bad batteries so fixed them, but it didn't say I needed to, or direct me to them. It did point me back to the station, when that was done though.

4) Very frustrating flying between locations where there is a planet in the way, without atmospheric indicators, like orientation and altitude (or even external air pressure). I notice the thrust/direction vector indicator is missing too. Would be good to be able to orbit, so I don't have to keep adjusting the direction, as I 'orbit' around a planet, to keep a constant altitude

5) Sound, there was a random, but repeatable banging. I think it might have been the wrong sound playing. It seemed to happen when walking on rock, but it sounded like hitting something industrial with a hammer. Initially I thought it might be a head+rock sound, but I now think its a mistake. I think it also played when doing nothing, so I thought it might be an industrial sound, but it seemed to happen, even when there was nothing that might legitimately make a sound.

Finally can I say the graphics are spectacular, compared with the frame rate. Great job with the rewrite, really really good. Looking forward to the official Water version.

P.S. As always, I'm running on Linux. However Steam seem to have come leaps and bounds with their Proton stuff, to the extent I now no-longer need even select a forced compatibility tool, it just works. That said, I did need to add "PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 %command%" to the launch options to get past the missing file issue. I strongly urge you guys to work with the Steam/Proton guys, as really you're 95% there, and they could use your help.

Thanks again,

Sibaz
