ore bounce

so im trying to drill an access hole to a node within an asteroid, and am switching between mining and clearing mode trying to not clear any of the ore i am trying to get to. at some point the ore starts to seemingly jump between containers. not just the ore im minning either! it effected the uranium in my reactor, causing it to seemingly bounce between containers. was digging titanium, if that specifically helps. *Update* so i think because of the grid spacing, i placed two drills too close together, and they were competing for which had control of the gathered ore. grinding one drill down forced the ore into the other.
