Can't weld inner blocks on blueprints

When I place a blueprint, I'm not able to weld any block that is surrounded by other blocks. Is there a way to make it so we can weld through unbuildable blocks or to display only buildable blocks to allow for the welding of these internal blocks?

The holographic projection remembers actions and can undo them. You can do this:
1. Remove the block or blocks from the hologram that hide the other blocks you need to weld
2. Weld the now accessible blocks
3. Use CTRL+Z to undo the removal of blocks in step 1
4. Weld the restored blocks.
This way its easy and you don't have to remember which blocks you removed and which way they were placed.
