Hot Key to change FOV while playing the game

As the title states, I would love to change FOV with a quick keybind, something like holding Ctrl and Scrolling in and out. Maybe even pressing a combination of keys and then pressing 0-9 numpad keys for FOV presets.

The main problem I have is that I would like to change FOV without going into the menu for easier screenshots.

The secondary problem with FOV is that if you play at low FOV, you have no spatial awareness.

If you play at high FOV, you can't see very far into the distance, which in the vast emptiness of space when you try to see if that asteroid 6km away has a bit of red (Iron) on it, or is it just your eyes playing a trick on you, or do you have a dead pixel :P

Example why this would be beneficial:

I would like to save a blueprint, but you play at high FOV, so the thumbnail gets distorted, and the blueprint looks small and distant, so I go to Settings>Video>Try to adjust the FOV slider to my liking (Not to forget you cannot see that in real time as you have to apply setting for it to take effect) Than try to hit that perfect angle, save blueprint, check if ok... than setting, video, FOV slider try to hit that number you are comfortable playing with and do that everytime you want to update a screenshot or save new blueprint.

You are welcome to criticise, comment, or recommend what you would change. But let's at least get their attention that we want change :)
