Spray Paintings on grids/blocks

I think contracts/missions and ships overall would be improved if they would and could include random spray paintings on their blocks/grids.
Think:
- Messages left by previous occupants: "Theyre coming!", "No more O2..."
- Directions: "Iron ->", "Repair this", "STORAGE"
- Random drawings just for content/variety
- Symbols of factions and such
Basically small image files projected onto grids (decals).
The painting knows what blocks it is projected onto. If those blocks are all removed, the painting is removed.
Further, the painting can be removed using some kind of eraser mode on the painting tool.
Would really add to the atmosphere!
Optionally allow such spray paintings on voxels (Asteroids/planets) too, though that feels secondary.
