Creative Mode Minor Feature Requests

The following is a set of minor feature requests that I believe would improve the creative mode experience. None of these is make or break, but I feel each would help refine the experience, especially for the ability to use Creative mode to design for Survival.

  • Set Default Hot Bar: Each time I load up Creative Mode, the first thing I do is swap my hotbars to match my preferred building organization. The default lineup is pretty good, especially for new players, but I would like to see the ability to set my default lineup so that I always load into creative mode with my setup arranged how I expect it.
  • Lock Mode: Allow setting a grid to be temporary locked in space while building, to include separated sections remaining "on grid" to enable reconnecting. This would prevent builds from accidentally spinning out of control if bumped or impacted by a gravity block, and enable the replacement of single block connections or entire sections without needing to build a separate anchoring segment first.
  • Set Fullness of Container: Allow the setting of containers to a % full in order to enable testing of ships characteristics at different degrees of loading. Large Cargo Haulers are currently very difficult to assess for acceleration and breaking at full load because of the weight difference when empty.
