Allow gravity (generator) field to be rotated

This may already be in the works but just in case...
Could you add a field rotation option to the gravity generator please. The current 1x2 block can only be placed upright to allow gravity field to feel normal. As it is so tall, I would like to lay it on its back \ side (so it's 2x1) but still have gravity feel normal (not rotate 90 degrees)
Options could include:
1) Option button to rotate field 90-180-270 degrees
2) Allow gravity to automatically orientate in relation / direction of main cockpit / control seat
