Welding is Fast, Grinding is slow

Take a block to weld at 1 steel plate and it is built in an instant. Grind that one block down and it takes much longer. With all the detail blocks available, it makes salvaging painful
I like this feedback
I have always thought grinding should be faster than welding. in SE1, I usually set Welding to Realistic and grinding to 5x.

I would like the grinder to have two speeds somehow. Like ...the drill, if you hold right click or left click behaves differently.
We could have the same thing for the grinder.
The thing is, sometimes you want to grind the block until the limit of functionality. That's why the slower speed could still be useful.

I find welding slow when compared to SE1, that is welding to the first build state only and consecutively.
In SE1 I could slap armour blocks down at speed while flying and quickly end up with a solid usable frame. I find doing this in SE2 a real chore.
