Item Suggestion: Datapad

I was thinking that it would be cool if you could craft yourself a datapad that is equipable like other tools. Once selected, you can write on it things you need to remember like how much Iron and Copper you need for a project. Or to write down components for multiple recipes.
Yes there are third party things that can do this already. But I think this would be a cool bit of immersion.
