Stop Moving Cargo List Positions
Please stop moving the order of the cargo list location whenever I put items into an empty cargo container when managing inventory. If I have an empty Cargo container that appears at the bottom of the list and I use both sides of the inventory set to my ship, the empty container I move items into resorts to the top of the list, out of view, because it now has something in it. It's a nightmare, well maybe not a nightmare, but it's a real pain to go find the container again to continue moving items into it. Also, I want to search on "Cargo" or "Ice", for example, and have the Cargo container show up, or the Cargo container that has the Ice in it to show up. This is how it worked in SE1 and I really liked being able to search on the name or the container or the contents to find that container.

omg yes. having multiple containers or inventories has turned managing it into a chore. :/

I actually thought one of my containers was bugged until I named them and worked out this was happening!!

Perhaps this could be a toggle option? Once in a while, I do find it useful, but for the majority of the time, annoying.

Find it both useful and annoying, then you need to dump lots of small inventory to a big one, just having them fast to access is okay but in that case I'd toggle the hide empty one...

Something should be done about the number of icon rows in inventories. If several refineries are operating at a base and material is being moved between a large number of warehouses, changes in the number of icon rows cause the equipment inventory windows to jump up and down, making it almost impossible to work with equipment inventories at the end of the list.
Probably the best solution would be not to reduce the number of lines displayed during a single inventory session. "Blank lines" may not look very nice, but they are much less annoying than the list of devices constantly jumping up and down.

Having the ability to select the entire "cargo container" as the targeted place for moving items would be a good solution. Maybe in the upper left of the selected cargo there could be a clickable area to the game knows that I want to move any or all of the items to the selected storage. And again it is also frustrating to place one item in a new cargo and have it then pop out of sight and move itself up the list of available areas to deposit the items.
