[Idea] Let components to be re-smelt / recycled

Hi,
I managed to make a lot more components (and the wrong ones) than I needed. Now I used up most of my ores and cannot build what I actually needed. It would be very convenient if one could dump the components back into the smelter and start over.
In general it would be nice to be able to recycle used parts. E.g. when I grind a crashed ship, I can only use it for things, that require exactly the component I was able to extract.
There would be numerous ways to balance this, of course. E.g. you get less back, than used before; the more complex the components are, the less you can get from recycling the parts; ...
