Flight Model is partially BAD

GRID: Grasshopper + 1 Huge atmo thrust facing up.
I understand the new flight model is kinda arcady..freelancer style. But it does not work very well in some cases. I "landed" my ship upside down and even tho i added enough thrust to the new up direction i was not able to lift up the grid.
PLEASE please investigate this issue because i tell you right now: the 100 reliable thrust in SE1 is king here,
at least give us the option to switch modes or something. It is really INSANE to be unable to lift up a grid by pressing c even tho u got the SAME thrust as the usual downwards direction.
