Request hold F to exit ship

Dear Keen Software,
Could you please add a setting so we can hold "F" for instance to exit the seat instead of instant?
I've jumped out of the ship multiple times during flight (also when in orbit of planet yikes :S )
Issue is that I switch between third person and first person a lot when flying and the keys are pretty close together. Also F is next to D which can easily be missed when strafing.
In Star Citizen they also implemented hold "button" to exit the pilot seat which is really helpful because you never want this to happen by accident. Especially when in combat or flying around with heavy cargo.
Please consider this or add custom key binding thank you :)
