VS2 Feedback

Here is my short VS2 feedback:
Good:
+ Sound and visuals
+ Grid system, mouse aiming for ships, and projection system
+ Having missions and progress in the game
+ Visiting interesting locations during missions
+ Space map with sectors
+ No stone
+ Big machine blocks
Bad:
- Contracts are pointless and really boring (re-think the concept!)
- No actual engineering is required to complete the missions
- Backpack building goes too far (should be very limited in speed and craftable items)
- No ingot stage
Overall:
These are great first steps toward a new Space Engineers.
My main criticism concerns the contract system. Please consider fundamental changes here.

I agree, giving players random objectives to go here and there is not an interesting gameplay loop. I understand the need to give players freedom of creativity, but that doesnt mean having no drive or purpose to begin with. I'm concerned that SE2 will remain a tech demo, just like SE1 has for years.
