Contracts on Verdure

Why are all the contract on Verdure on the other side on the planet from Vallation Station? It takes a long time to go to the mission area and then back just to do the same trip two more times I think that we should be able to take them all at once so we only have to go down to the planet and back to space ONCE not THREE times. It takes at least ten minutes if not more for a one way trip to the mission area. It is a 120 Km trip if I could travel through the planet.
