Hotbars and Intro Play Loop

I didn't see this on any of the slices or roadmap, but I may be overlooking it. I really do miss having hotbars (in ships) to add grouped items for the purpose of controlling states etc. I'm assuming that's coming and we're just making certain alpha is working with the basic gui. However, if not, please know customizing hotbars (and lots of them) is vital to the SE genre (ie, we need complexity, not simpleness). Also: Feedback on the initial tutorial/contract game loop. It's very fun, however I don't think there's enough effort on building a unique item/ship until much much later which adds into that simple vs complexity-oriented niche SE has. A mission in there to build something simple, earlier in the loop, IMHO is warranted.
