Stuck on starting/loading new game
Need More Information
The game gets stuck in a infinite loading loop with everything frozen. There is some ram change but letting it run for half an hour did change nothing.
It is the same for loading a safe and starting any of the 3 modes.

It seems that your Game files might have downloaded incomplete. Have you tried to verify the Game files through Steam or reinstalling the Game?
As for Survival, we are currently working on a fix for crash upon loading Survival Scenario here (you can also find a workaround in this thread):

It works now with the current patch ... but it skips the video so yeah but i assume that you are knowing that bug now

I have the same problem but not seeing a current patch on steam. Game acts like it is running under the splash screen and is putting time on game like I am on game but won't go past splash screen. Updated video card drivers, windows, and steam and still nothing, On RTX 3070 and I have been playing SE2 on creation mode since it release early spring. Worked fine up until yesterdays patch.

Booted up today, Installed the new patch.
Started the game.
Trying to continue my saved game. Stuck in loading screen. It is not crashing, it is just stuck on loading. The loading animation keeps moving, so it seems the game is still running. Just never getting to finish the loading. (It is still in that loading screen while I type this, so the time of this bug report is the time of the bug ;-)
Actually came here to report a clipping issue when digging a hole for ice. But it seems I cannot get into my save to prepare that bug report.

It seems to be stuck in a loading loop, memory is at 80-90% of 32gb, and the Loading animation plays for a while before pausing. After perhaps 30 seconds the animation starts back up again.
I've tried verifying files plus trying "Continue" and also Load Game. I am able to Load an old Creative save but I started a new Survival game which worked OK, but when I saved, quit to main menu and tried loading, I had the same symptom.
