Remove Backpack welding for large Thrusters

This would create the incentive to build your first Smelter.

Due to backpack welding theres no reason to build the Smelter until you want advanced Components.

That feels like skipping the whole "i need a base" part.

If you cant craft a turbine blade directly with the welding tool out of Ores youre stuck at small Engines and thus create the need to build a base (which isnt the case currently).

I keep seeing all these comments and its like people.... its been about for 24 hours and its literally just the first iteration...... for us to all get a feel for things, try out the contract system and colonization system. Its not meant to be SE1 levels of progression right out of the gate.

i know, i still want to tell my bits i have about certain balances

(and i didnt found any posts which were saying the same thing, otherwise an upvote on them would have been sufficient)


to be fair: there isnt any "hey when you guys playtest, focus on these things" (and i have seen all the livestreams etc.)

so i dont know which system to focus on.

the balancing on certain systems is the first thing that came to my mind playing yesterday.

and today i could say a few things about the engines (costs, weight, thrust)
