Turning off the Sledge ship during day prevents turning it on during night

On Verdure 1, I turned off during daytime the H2 thruster ship called Sledge found at the weather station. When I came back during nighttime, I was unable to turning it on even if the batteries were fully charged. I added one battery and tried to switch the battery cell: doing this prevented me from switching back the new cell in the new batteries. I added two more batteries: that prevented me from accessing all the batteries cells in the ship. I saved and tried to quit and the game froze.
When I reloaded, the problem disappeared.
