Contract/ Mission Ideas:
*I know a lot of my ideas I will share are probably already planned, but I would like to share my ideas for contracts to add to the game.
Broad contract ideas:
- Repair an NPC ship or base
- Build/ upgrade a NPC ship or base (colony construction co. simulator)
- Kill/ retrieve a specific NPC for a faction (bounty hunter)
- Destroy ship or base (demo crew)
- NPC transport (uber driver, but possibly deadly)
- Material transport (Trucking sim, but the cargo could blow you up)
- Data transport (uber driver, but with sensitive faction info)
- Defend NPC ships or bases (Tower defense)
- Explore regions (Forerunner/ colonizing)
- Find and retrieve items (abandoned poi, NPC occupied poi, vacant poi, etc)
- Agent field work (mission impossible sim)
Specific Contract Ideas:
- Run an multi-sector multi-colony NPC transportation line (can be automated using NPC's/ AI modules)
- Drain a specific body of water
- Transport an impact sensitive bomb on a planet with a ground based vehicle to an enemy faction base at night (ground + night to avoid detection) to destroy the base.
- Break into NPC base/ ship without being caught, infiltrate them (disguise), and find out useful info like next targets for your faction.
- Retrieve an ancient relic (or other important/ potentially overpowered item) from somewhere inside a massive secret underground base deep inside a specific planet or a massive abandoned space station far out in a space sector (could be randomized position to prevent widespread cheesing).
- Find and hack into enemy faction satellite to disable it (indestructible poi, player must enter and solve a puzzle to deactivate it or convert it to player faction)
- Steal a small enemy faction ship, fly to a main enemy faction base, steal a bigger specific enemy ship, then bring it back to player faction for reward without damaging the "bigger" enemy ship.
- Repair a large NPC ship that was previously heavily damaged in combat (assumed combat), get it running again for a reward.
- Flatten an abandoned colony to create a space for a new one (planet side)
- Destroy enemy fleet heading surrounding player faction space station (or other faction)
- Win a "drag race" with an NPC on a specific planet (multiple land based drag races that get harder each race)
- Spaceship version of that drag race idea
- Custom contract tool to allow for users to create and publish contracts or contract packs on the workshop that the user can do.
