Small pieces of unconnected voxel should be turned into a floating object

There is nothing worse than 1000ton mining ship dragging on some near invisible micro fragment of voxel that somehow appears to have an ability to wreck through the strongest armour without flinching.
Please make this right in SE2.

Seconded because it is still an issue in SE2. In one of the preview videos for VS2 I have seen floating voxels.
Almost as good solutions would be to make such voxels very fragile or just let them disappear below a certain size. But I consider the OP's suggestion best if it can be implemented with reasonable effort.

I completely agree, mass should be determined by the size of the detached voxels not the voxels or terrain they were previously apart of. Also if you cut off a piece of terrain on a planet, gravity should effect it. Currently you can dig out a chunk and it will float as if it's still connected to the terrain. (attached image)

I do want to add that compared to SE1 it seems much easier to drill out those itty-bitty voxels - both by hand and with a ship. I'm just glad I haven't died to one...yet.
