Thruster override on a grid cut from another grid causing drift to side, maybe new grids as well

Found this by accident, did more testing a bunch of different ways, couldn't solve it.

After making a pillar away from a grid and making a simple "Missile" with one ion thruster, a button, and sometimes a gyroscope sometimes not, I would delete the pillar, making the missile a new grid. After using the button to have the thruster have 1% override, the missile would move in the direction of the missile but also drift to a side. Tried multiple different things including: Making sure the number of buttons was even on all sides. Starting over with a new grid. Exiting and reloading the world. Using a cockpit to create the override, new grid and cut grid. Having a missile with thrusters on all sides except the opposite side from the "Main" drive that got overridden

Some things I did that did not result in drift: Having two "Missiles" with cockpits connected by a block, put override on both missile's thrusters at the same time using the cockpit, then getting out of the cockpit and deleting the connecting block. Using the thrusters normally on a ship with thrusters on all sides with no dampeners, then getting out and checking.

Unsure why exactly this is happening and/or if it's just my pc.

Pictures will be in the comments as I'm hitting a limit of how many pictures I can put in the description before it goes over the size limit. I have more, but as it takes forever for the comments to post, I'll add more photos if asked
