Signal Interference

Signal interference was a theme used in Splitsie's Assertive Acquisitions YT Series.
So this is not my idea, and credit should go to the originators, but I have not seen a ticket/post request for this and I would like to ask for this here.
I would not want to limit how this could happen, I am sure many people have their own thoughts on this.
From my own point of view I feel that Signal Interference should be experienced when large volumes of stone and at least 20m thick of Grid block are obscuring the signal path.
It could be that electronic warfare could create signal interference too. I am sure that this is a subject embedded in in several posts more generally concerned with E-war.
