Permanent Orbiting stations - not all stations

At least one space station in orbit around a planet or moon should be permanent and have a name.

They could evolve in size and complexity with the expansion of colonisation.

They can be destroyed with effort, but would be replaced if that was the case and grow back to size over time.

Other smaller stations will still exist and be encountered like as in SE1.

Plus - A travelling station to act as a forward contact point for areas of space that are opened up on the border of that new area.

It would be fun if each of the permanent stations could have a little individuality making them rememberable.
