Ship movement in third person is mostly unhelpful.

I've recently attempted to get used to the new mechanic employed in SE2's third person view when flying a ship. Didn't work out, only made me more frustrated. The fact that if I turn the ship - literally in any direction, the view angle shifts kinda to the direction I'm attempting to move towards. This is very annoying since I've set my camera in the viewing angle I want it to be in while I'm flying my ship. If I need it, or want it to have a different view, I'll change that myself. I do NOT need it to try and "help" me see better where I'm going, I DO need it to maintain the angle I've already selected for myself. Additionally, with this movement mechanic when I have finished my turn/directional movement, the camera rarely returns to the original viewing position I needed it to be in from the beginning. Often it is close the original position, but usually enough away from the original position I set it at that it is no longer useful. PLEASE for the love of all that is to be this game! At the very least make this "feature" optional! I truly can not tell you just how much I hate this feature - especially in games that don't allow you to turn it off!

In third person it is currently very difficult to predict your ships path of travel with any accuracy when passing local obstacles. This relates to way the marker is shown for the intended direction in third person with a given camera angle. Re-docking the red ship at the station is a little tricky in third person and ramming large ships together requires 1st person to line up correctly, missing most of the spectacle.
