Please allow key remapping (arrow keys, controls)

Hello KeenSWH team,
I really enjoy Space Engineers 2, but I find it very limiting that I cannot remap the controls.
I’ve been using arrow keys instead of WASD for years due to personal preference and comfort.
Please consider adding a key rebinding feature, even if just in a config file.
Many players (especially left-handed or accessibility-focused) depend on this customization.
Thank you for your hard work – I’m looking forward to more updates!

They *do* have a way to do it... with an external editor. My best guess is that the build they have in development right now has Keybinds and a few other features, but because it also has all the planet stuff (VS2, survival) & maybe water they haven't released a real update just for the Keybinds. When VS2 comes out, you should be able to rebind, hopefully :)

I think remapping the controls should be FUNDAMENTAL in game development. The main reasons I do not buy a game after playing the demo is usually because the controls are bad. Not being able to map them properly, specially with a game with complex mechanics and flight controls as Space Engineers is a total bummer! This is the reason I have not played SE2 as much, because I cannot get used to (in my opinion) stupid settings. Even now releasing joystick support for SE1 but not able to remap your controls for your joystick? What the hell Keen??
