Linear Slider and rotary dial controls

In SE1 we have buttons to control on and off.

In the control panel we have access to linear sliders on block functions.

Other space games have controls on console surfaces that you can interact with directly.

I would like this in SE2.

They may end up looking a little bulky, but that would be OK.

Dimmer switch to get that lighting mood just right and piston controls that you can use whilst visually observing. A volume control for the jukebox.

I was going to ask for touch screen LCDs as well, but I know that there are priorities, may be in a far off DLC in the future then.

I am all for outboard, but no I meant as an animated control on a block in game, like the ones in Starbase, Starship Evo and Stormworks

If there was a way to move the control panel to the second and subsequent screens...


I tried this in SE1 with a plugin for display the radar info and with the Spacedeck program.

It worked "so-so," but it was far from perfect or even a satisfactory experience.

Mainly because the plugin itself is not designed to display outside the boundaries of the primary screen (negative window position values) and its graphics resolution is also very low, it is assumed to be displayed somewhere in the corner of the primary screen...
